Whatever season we are in, our actions will reflect who we serve and what we are a part of, along with ourselves.
Being naturally passive, caring, and empathetic, we tend to pick what we want to follow and to show it. We do not truly go our own way, but instead we mirror what we are a part of, or from.
We can align ourselves with many things to become a type of woman; but regardless of choice, we show a notion.
How Come we Reflect?
We reflect what we want to follow because we are designed to be helpmates. In that, we have an innate sense to be a part of something. We want to get married, have children, be loved, or successful in different definitions; all being in something to a degree. Whatever we decide to follow, we take our desires and skills and use them to be needed.
Reflecting in All Lifestyles
We reflect in any lifestyle as we are joining something, for any reason, even if we are cultivating ourselves in such. A woman focused on her career, family, status, fame, and so on will show forth such in action, and more.
With the focuses expressed, we can note that we do not choose to be a part of something bigger, but instead are a part of something larger than ourselves, always.
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. (Romans 6:17-18 King James Version)
Mother Eve
To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.” (Genesis 3:16 English Standard Version)
Just as Eve was created for Adam, as she was made from him, and reflected God's very good creations, she then reflected the consequences of following the serpent, when she chose to eat from the forbidden tree.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:27 - 28 English Standard Version)
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. (Genesis 1:31 English Standard Version)
Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” (Genesis 2:18 English Standard Version)
Never putting on her own, or creating something new, but instead, being part of a new thing to her.
As we bear the curse of so, we still need to be aware of knowing whatever we decide to do, we are reflecting just as Eve was. Nonetheless, we should be thankful and content, as we are not forsaken, but instead are able to learn from her, and therefore continue to choose, follow, and honor the best, and see that we should, and know that such is Christ.
For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (Romans 15:4 English Standard Version)
Takeaway
We are reflections in the world by our actions, behavior, and beliefs; yet, instead of picking something worldly to show, we should use what we have to reflect Jesus, as what He values can be found inside of our hearts and spirits, by our faith, and therefore, be displayed.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16 New King James Version)
Likewise, when looking at the effort to move women away from the home and family, we can grow to understand that we are valuable, as a notion wants us. Thereby, we ought to put more effort in submitting to Christ and reflecting Him, in our walks.
For that reason, may our value be understood, as there are many notions, beliefs, trends, and products made for our consumption, and made for us to align ourselves in. Yet, above all, the spirit which God finds precious, and the good thing that is far more valuable than rubies, reflecting favor from the Lord, and rendering unimaginable, eternal reward, can become any woman in Christ, and show forth. Therefore, have hope.
3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. (1 Peter 3:3 - 4 New King James Version)
He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the LORD. (Proverbs 18:22 New King James Version)
Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. (Proverbs 31:10 New King James Version)
With love,
